unnecessary style has been added to our culture as “going away”
bride should go out from home or hotel as a bride
we hold the wedding according to traditional customs and formalities. so there is no style mentioned in our customs for going away brides
they see a auspicious time for almost all the activities ex:to invite people, to fry sweets, to get on to the poruwa.-the last auspicious time is the leaving time of the couple
some people undress their weddings clothes and go for the honeymoon wearing something else actually this is not suitable
then we would have to spend lots of money also
most people spend similar amount of money for wedding clothes and going away clothes
, sometimes they spend more money than wedding dress
this is an unnecessary expenditure
